First day of my administrative transfer. The 72nd Batalhão do Belo Horizonte. Belo Horizonte is the capital of Minas Gerais. Not sure what the day will bring. I hear that the staff sergeant is a real Caveirão, a big skull. A Pacificador’s life is sweat and blood. No matter what though, I’ll survive. I’m a Pacificador and surviving is what Pacificador’s does best. Ha! That’s funny. The mundanes call soldiers like me Pacificadors, which means “peacekeeper”. We never do anything to keep to keep the peace. We don’t help people. We’re blunt instruments. Doradus out.
